A quick update!
The Annual General Meeting was held in Tillicoultry on Monday 12th January 2026. A healthy turnout of 21 members attended, ensuring some lively discussions
Our president Bryan Anderson made a heartfelt plea for support of the members with work parties, pointing out that a number of the regular work party members have had health problems this year and none of them are getting any younger! It is proposed that we will endeavour to carry out some work parties at weekends for those of us that are working.
The other main points from the meeting were:
- Permit prices will remain unchanged this year.
- The DAA rules are being amended to ensure that they are up to date and will be published on the website when the final draft is agreed with the committee.
- After a lively debate and vote, it was agreed that we will not be stocking Glenquey Reservoir
The new season is now only just over 5 weeks away. Permits will be distributed to the usual outlets [see https://devonanglingassociation.org.uk/permits/ ] at the end of the month when printed.
