Walter Ramage sent through a couple of cracking photos of a Sea Trout and Salmon from the river

The Salmon looks a cracking fit fish (judging by the Walter’s boot width!).

Not being a Salmon expert I often wondered if some our Salmon begin to darken while in the brackish water of the Firth of Forth waiting for a spate?
