Some may have noticed that the access to the north bank of the River Devon at Rackmill has closed and Heras Fencing erected to prevent access. The DAA have endeavoured to maintain access to the south bank here for a number of years. Members of the committee met the landowner recently, and he confirmed that they had only restricted access to ensure the safety of members of the public during the forestry and construction works currently underway for the next 24 months. He reassured the DAA on completion of the works, access will be reinstated.

There are no restrictions accessing the river from the north bank.
