Temperature readings were taken on Saturday in the shallows (2 metres from the waters edge) which showed water temperatures being warm approaching 18C. Allowing for the current rapid draw down of water from the reservoir we consider that the majority of water body is substantially below that temperature and the current weather conditions are not a threat to fish welfare.

Water temperature monitoring is continuing on the River Devon and we hope that river fishing will be able to recommence in the near future!
