    Hey,

Is there any indication when permits are likely to be available?
I was in Deals on Reels in Cowdenbeath this afternoon, and they didn’t have any, or any indication of when they were likely to arrive.

Are there plans in the future to make trout permits available as e-permits through the Fishing Around the Forth website?

    Cheers

I will be making a post elsewhere on the subject, but to answer the question directly we are having problems with the printers at the moment. We hope to have the situation sorted out by the end of the week. Please be patient

That’s great, and I’ll go grab one as soon as they’re available.

Is there any plan in the future to issue digital permits via the http://www.fishforth.org website, like most of the other rivers in the Forth catchment, in the future?

        Cheers

Re : the Black Devon. There has been a serious rockfall into the river just below Linn Mill, taking several full grown trees and many tons of rock from the cliff. It has blocked the flow by half . Between Clackmannan and Alloa there are lovely stretches, but , I would think that they are poached to death as they run beside housing estates. Nice pools though and I can imagine Sea Trout waiting to run . Sent from my Huawei phone
