Pre-season update

The new season is now only 17 days away !!!

Tickets/permits have been distributed to the various outlets we have in the area, the full list can be found here:

We have a new outlet in Alva at Higglety Piggletty (Stirling Street). Salmon/Sea Trout permits are available directly from the Hon. Secretary (details in the link above) .

Prices for the 2017 remain unchanged.

The work parties have been busy through the winter doing amongst other things clearing vegetation/lumber from the Fossoway beats, clearing fallen trees from the river at Vicars Bridge and The Haugh and more clearance on the north bank of Glenquey.

The DAA and River Forth Fisheries Trust have raised our concern about the continuing discharge of ochre into the Devon, from the recently renovated Mains of Blairingone minewater treatment site, with SEPA and the Coal Authority.
